1. Who We Are

Folio is developed by MDE-Soft, based in Türkiye. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. Contact us at support.folio@proton.me.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Email address — collected when you create an account or join the waitlist on our website, used to authenticate you and send transactional emails (verification, password reset).
Project and task data — your projects, tasks, and notes, stored in encrypted form on our servers. We cannot read the contents of your data.

We do not collect your name, location, device identifiers, or any behavioral or analytics data.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the App
To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
To contact you about your account if necessary

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your project data is encrypted on your device before being uploaded to our servers, hosted on Supabase. Transactional emails are sent via Resend. Your data is stored on servers within the European Union.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
Resend — transactional email delivery
Anthropic (Claude) — AI assistant features
Iyzico — payment processing (we never see or store your payment details)

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support.folio@proton.me. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights (KVKK)

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK), you have the right to:

Know what personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to processing of your data

8. Children's Privacy

Folio is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
